Elizabethtown Church of the Brethren is launching a Lunch Debt Giving Tree to help eliminate over $34,000 in student lunch debt affecting 328 students in the Elizabethtown Area School District. Stars on the tree list individual student balances—some as high as $940. Simply take a star, mark it on the sign-out sheet, and follow the payment instructions provided. There are 56 students with debts over $200, and your generosity can make a real difference.
For more information or to join the effort, email givingtree@etowncob.org.
