Finally, we are able to give you good news. After reviewing 21 pastoral profiles which included those submitted by the District Office, those who responded to our advertisements, and the Search Committee contacting those persons whose names were submitted by you—members of this congregation—the Search Committee pared the list and interviewed three candidates. The Search Committee unanimously agreed upon the candidate which we are recommending to the Church to call as our Executive Pastor.
The details concerning the call and congregational vote are being negotiated and planned. Since the maintenance of strict confidentiality is essential during the negotiation and planning process, we cannot announce the name of the candidate publicly at this time.
Please be assured that all is well. We have appreciated your prayers and patience and continue to ask for them as the Executive Committee and Church Board work toward a joyful event in the life of the church.
