Beyond These Walls for Peace, Service and Openness to All

A capital campaign to raise funds for the renovation and expansion of our church building is underway! In October, Church Council strongly affirmed a unanimous action by our Church Board to begin the campaign—Beyond These Walls for Peace, Service and Openness to All. Our goal is to raise $10.9 million in commitments to finance the renovation and new construction that is proposed in the most recent schematic building design the church received. Highlights of the design include an open and welcoming gathering space adjacent to the sanctuary; a large multi-purpose room for fellowship; an increased number of classrooms for spiritual formation classes and community child care; enhanced technology, accessibility, security and energy efficiency; and much more!

On Sunday, January 13 following worship, we will gather together to celebrate our vision for our church building and the possibilities this project offers to expand the ministry and witness of our congregation for generations to come. During this event, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the Beyond These Walls for Peace, Service and Openness to All campaign and how you can be a partner in the project. Mark your calendars now for our official campaign launch on January 13!

The campaign leadership team, led by chairs Donna Hollinger and Donald Kraybill, invites everyone to join in this exciting time in the life of our congregation. We have an ambitious goal and with your financial pledges and gifts of time and talent, we believe we can achieve it! Stay tuned for more information about the campaign in early 2019. If you have any questions, please contact Donna Hollinger or Donald Kraybill.
