About the event

Starting on February 5th we will be offering our Youth Inquirers Class on Sunday mornings from 9:15am - 10:15am, during the regular Faith Formation Hour, for all youth grades 6th-12th. This class will run for 8 weeks and conclude on Palm Sunday with an opportunity for baptism. Topics for this class will include learning about the Bible, the Life of Jesus, Church History, the Church of the Brethren and our own congregation. It really is an excellent way to learn a lot about a variety of topics in a relatively short time.

I would strongly encourage all Junior and Senior High youth to consider attending as many of these weeks as possible.  Older youth may have already attended all or most of these classes in the past before the pandemic. Some youth may have also already been paired with a mentor as a part of this class before. Others have recently provided me with names and are being paired for this year.

If you would like to participate in this class please come on Sunday mornings starting on February 5th. Ideally we would like to match up all youth with adult mentors in the church, but I also would not want that to be a reason for any youth to not attend this class just because they have not provided names for potential mentors, it is not a requirement. As we approach the end of the class, if any youth are interested in baptism or church membership and do not have a mentor, we will make sure to find someone to pair you up with.

With such a large age range this class will be different than in the past, but I believe that the more youth who attend each week the more enjoyable the class will be for everyone!

Hope you can join us each Sunday in February and March!
