This fall, the online Women’s Bible Study will focus on Paul’s Letter to the Philippians, often referred to as Paul’s letter of joy, because of his frequent references to “joy” and “rejoicing.” These expressions of joy are especially remarkable given that Paul was imprisoned at the time he wrote the letter. This group meets virtually on Zoom Tuesday mornings at 10 am (ET) for one hour of Bible study, followed by 20-30 minutes of informal sharing, which is an important time for mutual support and laughter. The fall study will begin on September 22 and end on November 17. We will not meet on Election Day, November 3.…
