The Longest Night Service

December 21st, the Winter Solstice, is the longest night of the year. As we approach the celebration of Christmas, the day invites us to pay attention to those who struggle to find light in this season of joy. For anyone who has suffered loss or grief, or for whom Christmastime is challenging or complicated, we will be having a Longest Night service. This simple service provides space for those who enter this season with sorrows or burdens that might not be addressed in other gatherings. It is a time to light candles, to reflect on light that shines in the darkness, and to find hope that endures through times of struggle. It will begin at 6:00 pm in the sanctuary.
