About the event

Everyone who dares to care about someone or something experiences grief. Sometimes it is a passing awareness of loss, and sometimes it feels like a gaping chasm or imposing mountain that is nearly impossible to move past. Grief has its own timetable and process, unique to each person and experience. Although we can avoid grief for a while, it catches up with us and demands attention. Sometimes it helps to have intentional support in the midst of grief.


For five weeks during July and August, Pastor Liz will be offering a short-term grief support group during the Faith Formation hour (9:15-10:15 am).

These sessions are primarily for grief around death of a loved one, though anyone currently processing other grief is welcome. It is helpful if you are able to attend all five sessions, though you are invited even if you can’t be there each week. Sessions will cover acknowledging…
