Wrestling with Words, Sundays, Feb 2-March 2:
There are many words we might use to describe and explain our faith and spirituality. Sometimes words become difficult to embrace, when they lose or change their meaning, or when we shift or grow in our theological understanding. During these five weeks in late winter, we want to wrestle with some of these often-challenging words–words like "sin," "righteousness," "redeemed," "surrender," or "grace." We hope this might be an opportunity to take some familiar but sometimes unclear or uncomfortable theological words and unpack them a bit, seeking understanding and perhaps reclaiming some language in the process.
