Paul basically tells us love is all we need. This is something we need to hear in our world today for at least two reasons. First, love invites action and we certainly need loving actions in our world today from the personal to the international, regarding God's creation as well as the humans around us. Secondly, the challenges facing our world right now are daunting. How do we keep from giving in or giving up? Well, Paul actually says that neither knowledge nor faith nor hope are the most essential things - rather it is love, which "never ends". If we love this world, in spite of worries and woes, we will not abandon it - and this keeps us keeping on.
