On Earth Peace Day of Celebration

On Earth Peace is hosting a Day of Celebration on Saturday, February 3 to highlight our work as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary. This kick-off event includes an evening keynote lecture, "Growing Community in Faith, Resistance, Reconciliation, and Just Peacemaking" by Dr. Dean Johnson (location in Harrisburg, PA at the Harrisburg First Church of the Brethren and streamed online).

You are invited to come and go as your schedule allows using the same ZOOM link.

The events include (Eastern Times listed):

• 11:30- Worship with Madalyn Metzger, Annual Conference Moderator and former OEP board chair
• 12:00- Meet & Greet
• 1:00- Storyscape Poetry and Storytelling focused on Palestine Justice with Anesu Makufa, OEP Organizing Fellow
• 3:00- Keynote "Growing Community in Faith, Resistance, Reconciliation, and Just Peacemaking" by Dr. Dean Johnson at Harrisburg First Church of the Brethren and livestreamed
• 5:00- Action Hour
• 6:00- 50th Anniversary Slideshow and Memory Sharing
• 7:00- Kingian Nonviolence workshop

This is a fundraising event for On Earth Peace.  Tickets are sold for the ZOOM event.  Donations will be received at the in-person keynote.
