About the event
Starting on February 14th, with an Ash Wednesday Service, Etown CoB will be offering contemplative, Taizé-style worship on Wednesday evenings. These brief services will be held at 6:30 pm on Wednesdays throughout Lent. Taizé worship typically include singing simple repetitive songs, hearing meditative readings, periods of silent reflection, and prayer. There will be 6 services starting with an Ash Wednesday service on February 14 and continuing each week through March 20. We hope that these times of worship will provide opportunities for spiritual contemplation and renewal during the Lenten season.
