Handbell Workshop for Inquiring/Inspiring Ringers

Whether you are new to handbells or want to strengthen your foundation, this session offers a hands-on exploration of the essential techniques every ringer age 12 and older needs to know. We will review basic ringing and damping skills along with some ringing techniques, learning not only how to properly perform each one but also how to recognize the notation that represents it. Using materials from the Back to Bells Workshop Curriculum and the Handbell and Handchime Notation Guide, you will build skills through demonstrations, exercises, and plenty of opportunities to ring.
