Adult Faith Formation Opportunities!

Discovery Class–In Part I the class will take a look at the origins of Pietism in Europe, what it is (and what it is not). They will also explore some basic religious characteristics of Pietist groups. In Part II the session will center around religious movements in America that have direct and indirect links to European Pietism. Of special interest will be an overview of the Ephrata Cloister. The last session, Part III, will look at certain practices, such as the love feast of Pietist groups and reflect on the question of the relevance of Pietist “reform” for the Church today.
