Discovery Class–Gérard Depayre will give us a historical introduction about the European Union and will answer questions about the situation in Europe. Mr. Depayre has been a consultant in international trade in Geneva and worked for the EU Commission from 1976 to 2005. He has spent most of his career working on the European Union’s external economic and trade relations. He has extensive experience in trade relations with all the EU’s major partners.
