Adult Faith Formation Opportunities!
Discovery Class–Serious Play, Part 2 of 2, will be led by Pastor Liz Bidgood Enders. I believe we should take our faith seriously, but rarely somberly. That includes how we study the Bible and explore matters of ministry. We will look at several biblical stories of discipleship and service through playful engagement, group reflection, and an invitation for deeper contemplation. Part 2: we will be borrowing from Richard Swanson’s work with Provoking the Gospels, we will dive in Mark 1:29-39 through dramatic reading, exploration of word choices, possible implications for acting out the story and probable implications for how we understand a caregiving ministry.
