Adult Faith Formation Opportunities!

Discovery Class–Serious Play, Part 1 of 2, will be led by Pastor Liz Bidgood Enders. I believe we should take our faith seriously, but rarely somberly. That includes how we study the Bible and explore matters of ministry. We will look at several biblical stories of discipleship and service through playful engagement, group reflection, and an invitation for deeper contemplation. Part 1 will be about using a process created by Ameila Boomershine called “Circle of the Word,” we will explore Mark 4:35-41, paying attention to words and phrases that jump out to us. This session will give a contemplative way to engage scripture alone or with a group through prayer, journaling, focusing on an object, and imagination. This class is live-zoomed and recorded.
