The first Chirstmas during the COVID pandemic (2020) I chose a brief quote to cross-stitch and frame for each member of my family. Probably a cross-stitch quote to hang on the wall didn't fit with the younger generation's decor! But I was hoping that the quote would be meaningful. I never got any responses from the gifts I had mailed. I think each one of us is on our own spiritual journey and can ony recognize the deep meaning of something when we have wisdom and meaning to attach to it. Maybe one day they will be found in a dark drawer and be brought into the light with meaning. I'll wait and hope so!
We've given food or craft items that Linda has made to our neighbors here at Masonic Village. They often reciprocate with home-made baked goods and other foods. It has become a nice tradition.
These days we are scattered across the country- not near enough for a hug. but just a phone call away. NOT a txt or email but a real call to show you care.
