One of the things I like most about the Christmas season is the lights on people's houses. It is not so much the designs and the way they are displayed. It is more just about the lights themselves. The lighted houses on a dark December night really do change the mood, from a dark, deserted drive to a bright, welcoming feeling of heart-warming love. It really is a shock in January to drive the same streets without the lighted houses. The coldness and darkness can be unbearable.
Oh to always have that light of Christ in me so that I can change someone's dark, lonely journey to one of heart-warming love.
What lovely holiday thoughts from you two, Gina and Amy! I appreciate the way you both incorporate the devotional lessons about Christ's love into ways to help others.
