In the spirit of Christ's love, the Elizabethtown Church of the Brethren welcomes all persons into church membership through baptism, letter, or reaffirmation of faith. The congregation accepts all persons as members who profess faith in Jesus Christ and strive to live according to his spirit and teachings.

"Inquirers'" classes are held periodically to provide interested persons with an introduction to the Elizabethtown Church of the Brethren congregation, Brethren heritage and beliefs, and our ministries and outreach efforts.

"Inquirers" is for those who:

• are new to the congregation
• have decided they want to become a member
• have not decided they want to become a member, but have questions and want to learn more
• are adults and youth older than 6th grade. 

Topics include:

• Mission and vision of our congregation
• Our congregation's programs and ministries
• Church of the Brethren beginnings and theology. 

These classes are led by our pastors and meet on an "as needed" basis.  If interested, contact one of our pastors.
